2017 - Investments for innovations
Laempe Mössner Sinto is constantly working on the further development of the company - this is the only way to secure the technologically leading position of the family company in the future. For this reason, the company also invested in larger projects at both locations in 2017. New buildings in Schopfheim and Barleben increase productivity and efficiency in the work processes.
A modern and innovative company also includes resource conservation in production. The acquisition of a powerful 2D laser cutting machine is an important component for increasing the energy efficiency in the plant in Barleben. The measure was supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union. The aim of the new acquisition was to increase productivity in sheet metal processing while at the same time reducing power consumption. After the new laser cutting machine has been put into operation, it is now possible to process 30% more sheets while saving 126,000 kWh of electricity per year.
